Is it normal for an 18 year old girl to have an Alice in Wonderland tea party on her own? Because that’s what I did yesterday. And it was great fun.
Ok, so I did actually have a reason for carrying all of this stuff into the woods- mainly for my photography exam next week (see this is how unorganised I am- my exam is next week and I only just started taking photos oops), but I thought I’d share some of the unedited original images with you before I completely ruin them next week with my appalling photoshop skills. Haha!
To be honest I did get a few weird looks from dog walkers. And that was probably wasn’t just down to the fact that I was taking pictures of cake, but because to get into the mindset of the mad hatter, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to walk around the woods wearing a top hat. I definitely think they should come into fashion- I would totally jump on that trend, haha!
I went back to the woods again today, and looked equally as insane, but it’s ok. The pictures from today’s adventure will be up very soon!
Ok, so here is another photographer that I am a HUGE fan of.
Lissy Elle Laricchia takes beautiful, dream-like photographs that remind me of fairytales and Alice in Wonderland tea parties They inspire me to drag my best friend into the woods so I can take photos of her in a dress, even though its literally freezing outside (this is going to happen sometime soon because she has actually agreed, mwahaha- look forward to it 😉 )
Her photos are all about making you believe in the impossible, and she manages to create the most magical photos that seem to bend the laws of nature. Take a look for yourself, because they really are outstanding.
Lissy is literally my favourite photographer of all time, and I had such a hard time selecting just a few of her images to include in this post, so you definitely need to check out her website and her flickr account because her work is unbelievable and I love it.
Sorry there was no post yesterday, I was actually surprisingly busy for a change!
